Henry Horst is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Music in piano performance at the University of Maryland, where he has appeared in numerous showcase recitals and guest masterclasses and was a finalist in the 2025 UMD Concerto Competition. His honors include third place in the GCMTA Spring Piano Competition, first place in the MSMTA State Spring Solo Piano Festival, first place in the BMTA Zurstadt Senior Piano Competition, selection as one of three pianists for the 2024 Vella Silver Honors Recital, and first place in the senior division of the 2025 COSMIC Symphony Young Artists Competition. He recently performed Rachmaninoff’s First Piano Concerto with COSMIC. Beyond the piano, he participates in choral performances as a university chamber singers.
